Job summary

The New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority seeks a Senior Project Officer-PIM in Atlantic City to assist the Director of Project Implementation and Management with the development, management, oversight, and completion of CRDA-funded projects.

You will monitor schedules, budgets, expenditures, contractor performance, and compliance with plans, contracts, and regulations, coordinating with consultants, engineers, architects, and sponsors to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
• Experience in project management, construction management, construction administration, engineering, infrastructure development, facilities development, or related field.
• Knowledge of construction oversight including schedules, sequencing, materials, plans and specifications, contractor performance, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of construction requirements and contract compliance.
• Reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, schedules, contracts, and related documents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors project schedules, plans, specifications, contract requirements, and deadlines.
• Assists in planning and coordinating projects; helps hire consultants, develops RFPs, evaluates proposals, and negotiates contracts.
• Reviews plans and specifications; assists in bidding, awarding contracts, and identifying issues.
• Prepares check requests and monitors expenditures with timely documentation.
• Reviews contractor payment applications and supporting documentation for consistency with work performed and contract terms.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or applicable field
