Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a senior IT infrastructure engineer to drive VMware Cloud Foundation, cloud and on-prem automation, and data-driven operations. You will collaborate across security, platform engineering and software teams in a hybrid Lakeland environment.

Responsibilities include architecture, automation, and dashboard development using PowerBI and Aria Ops, maintaining secure, highly available systems, and guiding large projects from requirements through implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or analytical discipline or equivalent experience.
4+ years implementing VMware Cloud Foundation and adjacent VMware appliances.
4+ years with infrastructure management tools (SDDC Manager, HPE OneView, Dell OpenManage).
4+ years of Windows Server & Red Hat in secure virtual infra.
4+ years leading medium to large projects.
2+ years developing PowerBI, Data Bricks dashboards or similar.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, integrate, and support software and hardware.
Design and architecture of projects and platforms.
Manage systems, platforms and networks; ensure security and audits.
Lead automation, DevOps throughput and IaC initiatives.
Develop dashboards and data insights for operations.
Maintain vendor relationships and documentation.
Collaborate with engineering to simplify internal dashboards for data-driven decisions.
