Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Infrastructure Planning Project Manager to lead planning efforts across transportation and water practices, guiding teams and mentoring staff. You will engage clients, review policies, and shape strategic plans to expand the firm’s footprint in Texas and nationally.

You will develop budgets and qualification statements, present proposals, and ensure project performance with a focus on schedule, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, construction management or related degree from accredited program and 7 years applicable experience required.
• Experience on construction project sites or program management in relevant industries preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning efforts and serve as a project manager for infrastructure projects for transportation and water practices.
• Build and manage relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors to meet satisfaction goals.
• Develop strategy and collaborate to grow infrastructure planning work in Texas and nationally.
• Develop cost proposals and qualification statements to meet financial targets and present budgets.
• Provide project management, leadership, mentorship, and instruction to project teams and staff.
