Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Sr. Integration Engineer, Network & Systems, to plan and execute the infrastructure integration of acquired companies into the VSE environment.

This field-based role travels ~80% domestically and internationally, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure network, wireless, server, and infrastructure alignment with VSE standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering.
• 7+ years in network and systems engineering for enterprise IP networks.
• Hands-on with switching, routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless, Windows Server, and virtualization.
• Experience coordinating deployments with carriers, vendors, and contractors.
• Willingness to travel ~75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infrastructure site assessments and readiness planning.
• Manage acquisition site deployments and stage equipment.
• Design and deploy LAN, wireless, and related network services.
• Migrate servers and services into target environments.
• Support cutovers, validation, and post‑go‑live activities.
