• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure and network engineering in global environments.
• Hands-on technical role focusing on infrastructure rather than end-user support.
• Ability to assess, document, optimize, secure, and modernize complex IT environments.
• Strong expertise in network and server architectures across multi-site/global setups.
• Experience with patch management, vulnerability management, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the current infrastructure and network environment.
• Create network diagrams, asset inventories, and operational documentation.
• Identify risks, gaps, technical debt, and security weaknesses.
• Review and improve network, server, cloud, and identity architectures.
• Establish patching, monitoring, backup, and maintenance standards.
• Lead remediation efforts and infrastructure improvements.
• Mentor internal Systems Administrators and transfer knowledge.
• Deliver a prioritized roadmap for infrastructure optimization and security improvements.

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
• VMware/virtualization technologies
• AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure
• Firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, VLANs, network segmentation
• SD-WAN/SASE technologies
• Identity & Access Management, MFA, Okta, privileged access controls
• Patch management, vulnerability management, backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity
