The role emphasizes governance, vendor partnerships, and performance reporting, with a focus on resilient, scalable infrastructure across VMware, Windows, Linux, AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Systems/Cloud Engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a formal technical leadership or management role.
• Deep operational expertise with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Windows Server administration, and Enterprise Linux environments.
• Proven track record running production workloads across AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI.
• Hands-on background with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or cloud-native IaC frameworks).
• Solid understanding of multi-cloud networking (VPCs, VNets, DirectConnect, ExpressRoute, FastConnect), DNS, IAM, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience designing and testing robust DR/BCP strategies across hybrid/multi-cloud setups.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure strategy and roadmap, aligning initiatives with business priorities, risk tolerances and AI-enabled innovation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure professionals.
• Establish SOPs, escalation paths, and SLAs/SLOs; drive capacity planning and technological transformation.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across VMware, Windows Server, Linux and cloud environments.
• Develop governance models for multi-cloud management and platform interconnectivity.
• Partner with Security to enforce IAM, patch management, zero-trust and SOC2/PCI-DSS compliance.
• Lead DR strategy, testing, ransomware preparedness and incident response.
