Job summary

Zelis is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, optimization, and scale of our global platform. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will implement automation, observability, and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools, while mentoring engineers and championing best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and hybrid architectures.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize infrastructure solutions for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers and peers.
• Develop advanced automation for provisioning, config, monitoring, and incident response.
• Drive observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to align infra with business goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and innovation.
• Create and maintain documentation for designs, standards, and procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Lead continuous improvements for performance and cost optimization.
