Job summary

Zeely AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and scale the infrastructure behind our agentic AI marketing platform. You will design resilient systems, define infrastructure standards, and turn complex operational challenges into reliable, maintainable solutions to support growing AI workloads.

You will collaborate across AWS, GCP, and multi-cloud on-call rotations, improve CI/CD, observability, and FinOps, while driving deployment reliability and developer experience in a remote-first

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on commercial DevOps experience.
• 5+ years of AWS experience including EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, OpenSearch.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills (preferably EKS).
• Advanced Terraform experience with modules and multi-provider infra.
• Hands-on GCP experience including BigQuery/Compute Engine.
• Strong Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience owning production infrastructure, observability, and incident response.
• Ability to explain trade-offs and drive improvements to implementation.
• Upper-Intermediate English / B2+; Ukrainian for day-to-day team communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch, and related services.
• Manage and scale GCP environments supporting AI services, data pipelines, and analytics workloads, including BigQuery.
• Maintain supporting infrastructure across Cloudflare and Hetzner, including networking, edge services, and production traffic routing.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, building reusable modules and consistent practices across cloud providers.
• Operate and improve Kubernetes production environments, including availability, autoscaling, troubleshooting, and deployment stability.
• Strengthen observability across metrics, logs, traces, and APM, improving visibility into application and infrastructure performance.
• Improve monitoring and alerting to reduce noise, surface actionable issues, and support effective incident response.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, release reliability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture and our multi-cloud strategy, with a primary focus on AWS and GCP.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations (L2), investigate critical infrastructure incidents, and turn findings into lasting improvements.
