Job summary

At Zelis, a leading healthcare financial solutions provider, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, optimize, and scale our infrastructure. You will oversee cloud and on-premises environments, champion automation, and drive security and compliance across platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with application requirements, leveraging AI-driven operations, container orchestration, and serverless approaches to boost

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required.
Experience with AI tools and intelligent prompts.
Advanced infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, virtualization).
Deep cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Expertise in containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven infrastructure tools and intelligent automation.
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Strong security/compliance knowledge.
Experience designing/managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

Architect and optimize infrastructure solutions for scalable, reliable, cost-efficient systems.
Lead design reviews and mentor engineers; enforce best practices in architecture and operations.
Develop automation frameworks for provisioning, config, monitoring, and incident response (Ansible, Terraform).
Improve observability and resilience with proactive monitoring and disaster recovery.
Champion security and compliance; assess risks and address threats.
Collaborate with product/engineering to align infra with app needs and business goals.
Evaluate emergent tech (AI-driven ops, containers, serverless) for efficiency.
Document infrastructure designs, standards, and procedures.
Drive continuous improvements in performance, cost, and ops excellence.
Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing.
