Job summary

Blue Signal Search seeks an Infrastructure Hardware Specialist to install, configure, and deploy server, networking, and storage hardware in a lab and data center environment in Austin. You will perform rack installation, cabling, hardware upgrades, relocations, and on-site diagnostics for engineering teams.

The role requires strong hardware troubleshooting, Linux command-line skills, and knowledge of copper and fiber cabling, with opportunities to engage with cutting-edge compute and storage

Qualifications

• Experience with server hardware in production data centers or lab environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, and RM interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Linux and command line diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy server, networking, and storage hardware in lab and data center.
• Perform rack installs, cabling, upgrades, replacements, and relocations.
• Provide on-site diagnostics, hardware verification, and physical troubleshooting.
