Commerce is seeking an Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead distributed teams responsible for platforms and systems powering our global engineering org. You’ll balance hands-on leadership with people management while driving cloud-native, containerized and highly available infrastructure at scale.

We value 8+ years in infrastructure and 5+ years in software, including 4+ years managing engineers, plus expertise in Cloudflare, IaC and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience including 4+ years of people management.
• Strong cloud-native and platform architecture expertise.
• Hands-on with global performance and security via edge/networks (e.g., Cloudflare).
• Unix/Linux fundamentals and relational databases knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead distributed infrastructure and software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Own execution of platform and infrastructure roadmap with quarterly priorities.
• Advance toward cloud-native, containerized, orchestrated environments (Kubernetes, IaC).
• Ensure infrastructure and data layers support global scale, performance, and availability targets.
• Drive developer productivity by reducing friction across build, test, deploy, and observability workflows.
• Mentor engineers and build a sustainable talent pipeline; collaborate with cross-functional partners.
