Job summary

Tower Loan is seeking an Infrastructure System Administrator to manage and secure the IT infrastructure supporting our financial services operations. The role emphasizes VMware, Windows Server, IIS, Fortinet, Cohesity, and BeyondTrust with a focus on reliability, security compliance, and incident response.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration, strong problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with IT and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on system administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Strong experience with VMware, Windows Server, Fortinet, and IIS.
• Experience with Cohesity backups and disaster recovery systems.
• Familiarity with BeyondTrust or similar remote support platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Manage Windows Server patching, user accounts, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and maintain IIS for hosting web apps and services.
• Administer Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Perform backups and disaster recovery with Cohesity.
• Support BeyondTrust remote access tooling for secure support.
• Implement monitoring to track server, storage, and network health.
• Respond to incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure systems meet security and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects and deployments.
• Maintain documentation for configurations and policies.
