Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Columbus, OH seeks an Infrastructure Engineer III to contribute to the Infrastructure Platforms and Databases team. You will apply your knowledge of SQL Server databases, cloud integration, and scalable data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, capacity planning, and leveraging AI-assisted monitoring to optimize performance. You will collaborate across platform and application teams to design, implement, and operate database services

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL Server or other RDBMS.
• Experience in database design, T-SQL, and database objects (Stored Procs, Views).
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows.
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency and security.
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS), reporting tools (SSRS), and analytics tools (SSAS).
• Experience with database management including performance tuning and security.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver functional solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages.
• Experience across multiple environments (database, Windows/Unix/Linux, large-scale software development, security).

• Monitors applications end-to-end and supports capacity planning.
