Job summary

Moonshot is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise infrastructure as the organization scales. The role adds engineering capacity across systems and networks, enabling rapid facility deployments and reliable operations.

You will lead infrastructure projects from design through implementation and stabilization, while also providing hands-on support to strengthen security, reliability, and documentation across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent preferred.
• CompTIA A+ / Network+ or equivalent preferred.
• Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Firewall or vendor certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define infrastructure requirements for new initiatives and facility rollouts.
• Lead network and IT infrastructure projects from planning to implementation and transition to support.
• Build and deploy infrastructure for new facilities including systems, network, connectivity, and core IT services.
• Provide post-implementation support, documentation, and continuous improvement after deployment.
• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V environments for reliability and performance.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot, and plan lifecycle for servers and core platforms.
• Support SQL environments and develop automation/scripts (PowerShell preferred).
