• 6+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, and/or Proxmox.
• Working knowledge of enterprise storage, SAN, HCI, and virtualization storage.
• Experience implementing or supporting Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Strong experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting SQL Server infrastructure, including high availability and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with infrastructure hosting ERP and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and SOC 2 infrastructure requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and client collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual Windows Server environments.
• Implement and support VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, and Proxmox virtualization platforms.
• Configure and manage enterprise storage, SAN, and hyperconverged infrastructure using NetApp, Pure Storage, Nutanix, and VMware vSAN.
• Build and support hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure, Azure Government, and AWS.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup policies, disaster recovery planning, and recovery testing.
• Support Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, including installation, upgrades, patching, high availability, and backup and recovery.
• Maintain infrastructure supporting Epicor, Infor SyteLine (CSI), Sage, and other business‑critical applications.
• Support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops infrastructure, including hosts, storage, machine catalogs, and NetScaler integrations.
• Apply infrastructure hardening and security controls aligned with NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and SOC 2 requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve system reliability, performance, and availability.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and infrastructure records to support operations and audits.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to deliver projects consistent with established architecture standards.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across a diverse client portfolio. This hands‑on role spans Windows Server, virtualization, storage, hybrid cloud, backup and disaster recovery, and SQL Server infrastructure.

• Relevant certifications, including Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, Veeam VMCE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
