Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Server, Storage & Network Engineer to design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions for diverse customers in the Southeast. You will work hands-on across servers, storage, virtualization, and networking while guiding deployments and migrations.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of experience, strong customer-facing skills, and ability to travel up to 75%. This role focuses on high-impact projects for K-12 and higher education customers and requires collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on across servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
• Experience delivering deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux, directory services, and virtualization platforms.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networks, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, backup and recovery systems, and high-availability configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from discovery to customer handoff.
• Design reliable, secure, and scalable server, storage, virtualization, and network environments.
• Partner with sales on technical discovery, demonstrations, and proposals.
• Develop designs, BOMs, statements of work, and implementation estimates.
• Implement and deliver migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure refresh projects.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to meet scope and schedule.
• Provide customer training and operational handoffs.
• Mentor engineers and maintain relevant certifications.
