OunceIT is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust server and network infrastructure for non-profits, schools, and mission-driven clients in Massachusetts. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining physical and virtual hosts.
• Proven experience in engineering and sustaining server infrastructure (on-prem and hybrid).
• Strong understanding of resilient, highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain robust server and network infrastructure for clients.
• Configure and optimize network hardware for secure connectivity.
• Lead complex infrastructure projects including upgrades and migrations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot latency and bandwidth, and improve stability.
• Create documentation including diagrams and engineering plans.
• Ensure designs meet security policies and client requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight.
