Job summary

Scriptwellrx is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve our core on-prem infrastructure as we scale. You will lead virtualization, networking, and colocation efforts, driving tooling and architecture decisions to support rapid growth with hands-on ownership.

You will design and build a scalable, resilient environment, mentor junior staff, and partner with engineering leadership on roadmap and capacity planning while ensuring compliance with SOC 2/HITRUST and security standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on infra/network/systems engineering experience.
• Experience with virtualization in production (Proxmox/VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong networking, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure tooling and standards for scaling.
• IaC/config management (Ansible) at production scale.
• Willing to travel to colo facility and occasional off-hours maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain on-prem virtualization (Proxmox), storage, and colocation infrastructure.
• Own core network architecture and site connectivity, including colo work.
• Evaluate, select, and implement tooling for automation, monitoring, backup/DR and compliance.
• Build automation for provisioning and configuration management (Ansible).
• Mentor junior staff and partner with engineering leadership on roadmap and capacity planning.
