I’m working with a high-growth payments technology company whose platform sits underneath some of the world’s leading banks, fintechs and merchants.

They’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help architect, build and evolve highly available infrastructure at serious global scale.

This is a heavily infrastructure-focused role, with roughly 80% focused on Infrastructure and 20% on DevOps/CI/CD. The platform presents some genuinely interesting infrastructure challenges:

• Scale & availability — designing infrastructure capable of handling high-throughput workloads and significant spikes in global traffic without degradation.
• AWS & architecture — working across AWS infrastructure, cloud architecture and system design to build resilient, scalable platforms.
• Networking & security — designing secure, reliable infrastructure across complex cloud environments, with awareness of PCI and SOC 2 requirements.
• Infrastructure as Code — owning and evolving infrastructure through Terraform and strong IaC practices.
• Reliability — building infrastructure where availability, performance and resilience directly impact payments and revenue.
• Automation — improving the way infrastructure is provisioned, deployed and operated through automation and CI/CD.
