Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for our Unified IT Operations team in the Madison area. This onsite role focuses on maintaining and optimizing enterprise infrastructure to support business operations, security, and reliable service delivery.

You will lead core platform initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive standards and best practices across Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, and cloud services to ensure resilient IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Hands-on with Intune, Autopilot, and device management.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and core networks.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize enterprise infrastructure and core systems.
• Lead technical initiatives; ensure standards and security.
• Manage Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file services.
• Support M365 initiatives and Azure Entra ID integration.
• Administer endpoint management and device provisioning.
• Collaborate with service desk and cybersecurity teams.
• Participate in after-hours on-call and travel as needed.
