Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a Sr Engineer to lead a team focused on workstation software packaging, deployment, vulnerability remediation, and security patching. You will use Config Manager, Intune, and Patch MyPC, with PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and maintain system health across enterprise devices.

The role requires deep experience with JAMF for Mac, Windows/AD, and data reporting via Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• 5 years of relevant work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience deploying and packaging desktop software on Windows and macOS, including packaging and deployments tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve workstation patching processes with Config Manager / Intune.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Drive vulnerability assessment and remediation efforts for endpoints.
• Collaborate with PMs, Architects, and engineers to deliver secure, enterprise-scale infrastructure.
