Job summary

Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer—DevOps & Site Reliability to architect and deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure for mining technology solutions. You will drive CI/CD, implement IaC, and enforce best practices across global production environments.

You will mentor peers, define SRE metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, security, IT, and field operations to ensure 24/7 mine operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Lead architecture and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Design and maintain on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Establish observability with metrics, tracing, logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Mentor peers and drive best practices across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader across multiple infra and DevOps domains.
• Develop and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for agile development.
• Architect and maintain on-premise virtual environments.
• Design secure, scalable infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Packer).
• Implement observability frameworks for end-to-end visibility (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Define and monitor SRE metrics (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets).
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production systems.
• Partner with field engineers to ensure 24/7 high availability at mine sites.
• Mentor team members on advanced technical issues.
