Job summary

SwitchThink Solutions, supporting Desert Financial Credit Union, seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to design and deliver integrated infrastructure across server, virtualization, cloud, and disaster recovery platforms. You will lead projects from requirements through deployment and mentor admins.

You will collaborate with security teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to maintain secure, highly available environments and drive automation and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 6+ years in systems administration, technical support, infrastructure operations, or managed services required.
• 6+ years supporting Microsoft Windows OS and enterprise infrastructure technologies required.
• 1+ years in an MSP environment preferred.
• 1+ years experience with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Experience with server hardware, PowerShell, and infrastructure monitoring tools required.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) required.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, administer, and maintain infrastructure solutions for clients.
• Support Windows Server, virtualization, cloud technologies, storage, and backup systems.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, tech refreshes, and modernization while ensuring security and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents and requests per SLAs.
• Develop documentation, standards, procedures, and implementation plans.
