Job summary

Resideo in Louisville, KY is seeking a Sr Infrastructure Engineer to support internal operations and customers, designing reliable, scalable systems and driving end-to-end technical initiatives.

The role requires strong MS Active Directory, M365/SQL, Azure/Intune, VMware vSphere, and hyperconverged infrastructure experience, with focus on security and uptime. Hybrid work model offered with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 8 years of IT experience.
• 5 years of experience leading implementation and design projects.
• Design and management of Microsoft Windows Active Directory topologies.
• Role-Based security design and group policy management.
• In-depth knowledge of M365 and Microsoft SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Intune.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere 7.0+ including design, implement and manage.
• In-depth knowledge of Physical/Hyper Converged Infrastructure (Nutanix, EMC, Dell, HP, etc.)
• Backup Infrastructure Design and Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve technical solutions that enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Architect and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Evaluate, adopt, and integrate emerging technologies into existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver solutions and own initiatives end-to-end.
• Design and manage workflows for task tracking, change management, and operational visibility.
• Identify systemic deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective engineering solutions.
• Lead incident analysis efforts and design long-term fixes.
• Engineer and implement solutions to recurring technical challenges.
