Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a large, multi-site enterprise in Mesa, AZ. This hands-on role covers Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Teams, and SharePoint, with virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V and Veeam backups.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years in infrastructure roles, strong Azure and networking knowledge, and a track record of ownership and automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Senior Systems Administration experience.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
Experience with Microsoft Defender and security administration.
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and compliance technologies.
SharePoint Online administration experience.
Microsoft Teams administration and support experience.
Experience working with Azure cloud services.
VMware administration experience.
Hyper-V administration experience.
Experience with Veeam backup and recovery solutions.
Working knowledge of Cisco networking fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Experience supporting mid-sized to enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Teams, and SharePoint.
Assist with cloud adoption initiatives and Azure-based infrastructure projects.
Support and maintain virtualization environments including VMware and Hyper-V.
Participate in ongoing Hyper-V migration efforts.
Manage backup and recovery solutions utilizing Veeam.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, systems, and cloud-related issues.
Support enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and telephony solutions.
Assist with network administration and troubleshooting involving Cisco technologies.
Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Take ownership of projects from planning through implementation with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver infrastructure initiatives.
