Job summary

JPMorganChase within Corporate Sector – CTO seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization across cloud and on-premises platforms, applying AI-assisted practices and ensuring security and auditability.

You will manage cross-functional workstreams, collaborate with security, IAM, and SRE teams, and deliver scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with IaC and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as: hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience or performance assessments
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.); must have experience with Snowflake and Databricks
• Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds; Experience supporting enterprise-grade, third‑party platforms in production, including vendor engagement, upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise to projects of moderate scope and implements design, development, and troubleshooting solutions.
• Delivers infrastructure changes end-to-end for BI platforms across Windows/Linux and AWS/SaaS environments.
• Automates delivery using Infrastructure as Code and repeatable build/deploy practices.
• Maintains security and compliance controls and runbooks; collaborates with security, IAM, network, SRE and vendors.
• Leads cross-team delivery: translating requirements into designs, managing dependencies, and driving execution in a controlled environment.
