Job summary

Arcesium is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer for the Infrastructure Engineering organization to design, build, and operate core infra that powers our platform across AWS and Linux.

You will own subsystems, drive reliability, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure. A strong emphasis on automation, observability, and security underpins this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of infrastructure experience or equivalent demonstrated impact.
• Ownership of critical infrastructure systems and delivery of reliability improvements.
• Polyglot programming with Python/Java/Go/Bash in a large infra context.
• Experience running workloads in AWS and cloud environments.
• Ability to balance delivery with correctness and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate reliable, well-instrumented infrastructure services across multiple areas.
• Strengthen compute platform using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Develop tools and automation to reduce toil and accelerate infrastructure work, leveraging GenAI where appropriate.
• Own subsystems or services and deliver high-quality work both individually and as part of a team.
• Drive process improvements and define metrics to maximize impact for engineering teams.
• Be a member of Arcesium Infrastructure organization and support the customer-facing Platform.
