Job summary

Arcesium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Infrastructure Engineering group. You will own subsystems across compute, cloud, and security domains, delivering scalable, reliable platforms on AWS with Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes high agency, collaboration, and strong engineering standards. You will work across Developer Experience, Cloud Account Management, and Solutions Architecture to build and operate foundational services used by client-facing applications.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience (flexible on years).
• Ownership of critical infrastructure systems and delivery of reliability features.
• Polyglot programming with proficiency in at least one language (Python/Java/Go/Bash).
• Experience running workloads in AWS is highly valued.
• Ability to balance delivery with correctness and risk management.
• Curiosity and collaboration across multiple infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate reliable, instrumented infrastructure services used by off-the-shelf apps.
• Strengthen the compute platform using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Create tools and automation to reduce toil and accelerate infra work, leveraging GenAI where appropriate.
• Own critical infrastructure components built on various technologies.
• Drive process improvements and engineering best practices with measurable impact.
• Collaborate across the Infrastructure org to support platform readiness.
