Job summary

Mainstay Maritime is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure Professional to design, deploy, and maintain critical vessel and office infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure security, reliability, and scalability of core systems, including networking, storage, virtualization, and satellite connectivity.

You will lead automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and protect data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in core infrastructure technologies.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy complex network and infrastructure solutions that support vital business operations.
• Administer, maintain, and support core infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security; implement network security policies.
• Maintain policy and process for infrastructure vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance.
• Leverage automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and centralized management to promote efficiency, scalability, and cybersecurity.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues to minimize operational downtime and protect against data loss.
• Collaborate with business systems team to ensure vessel and office access to critical business applications and onboard workstations.
