Job summary

Vector Synergy is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise Linux (Oracle Linux / RHEL) and Windows Server environments.

You will automate deployments with Ansible and Python, maintain monitoring with Splunk, and mentor junior engineers while leading migrations and modernization projects.

The role requires strong independent work, excellent communication, and a disciplined approach to change control and security hardening.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Linux (Oracle Linux / RHEL) and Windows Server environments.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Experience implementing and operating monitoring solutions (e.g., Splunk, Zabbix/Nagios).
• Proficient in automation using Ansible and Python; experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and security hardening practices.
• Experience with PKI, certificates, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Linux environments (Oracle Linux/RHEL) and Windows Server infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory services, DNS, DHCP, group policies, and domain controllers.
• Perform system deployment, patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production systems.
• Manage OS, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms; support labs and production.
• Maintain enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) and implement automation.
• Develop infrastructure automation with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
• Contribute to IaC and configuration management initiatives; manage GitLab CI/CD.
