Meta is seeking experienced engineers to join our Central Integrity team to build large-scale systems that detect and disrupt harm on our platforms. You will work on AI-driven safety challenges at a global scale, protecting billions of people while advancing cutting-edge defense mechanisms.

You will design and deploy infrastructure for abuse detection, classification, and enforcement, collaborating with research and product teams to deliver measurable impact and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of programming experience in a relevant language or 4+ years with a PhD in CS, CE, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects
• Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions
• 6+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
• Experience working on adversarial problems where bad actors actively adapt to countermeasures
• Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
• Experience building detection, classification, or enforcement systems for abuse, fraud, or safety harms at a consumer scale
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact
• Experience in trust and safety, risk, fraud, security, or regulated domain engineering
• Programming languages such as C, C++, or Java, and scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, or Hack
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development and adherence to responsible, ethical AI practices
