Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Governance Engineer to build and scale governance across infrastructure planning and supply chain systems. This senior IC role will translate governance needs into technical requirements, operating models, and measurable outcomes, collaborating with planning, data centers, networking, analytics, and finance teams.

You will own end-to-end governance, drive adoption of standards, and deliver trustworthy data to power fast, reliable decisions at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years in operations research, industrial engineering, supply chain, or related fields.
Experience leading data governance or data management programs and governance processes.
Experience delivering technical programs across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end governance process for major infrastructure data domains.
Develop and analyze manufacturing and logistics data to identify governance gaps.
Establish ownership, audit trails, and accountability across teams.
Drive cross-team adoption of governance standards and processes.
Contribute to end-to-end supply chain processes and data to deliver optimized plans.
Manage escalations and data exceptions across the supply chain.
Define problem statements, collect data, build models, and drive change.
Communicate strategy, status, risks, and compliance to stakeholders.
