Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a senior professional to lead construction program management for large-scale initiatives, including educational, public works, and commercial facilities. You’ll drive schedules, budgets, contracts, and risk management onsite with client teams and partners.

The role emphasizes extensive experience in large programs, bid planning, and coordination across departments, with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Twenty (20) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience.
  • Ten (10) of the 20 years must be managing large programs with projects having construction values of more than $50 million (not cumulative).
  • Five (5) years’ experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California).
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
  • A CCM credential may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Twenty-five (25) years full-time paid professional project/construction management experience.
  • Twenty (20) of the 25 years must be managing large programs with projects having construction values of more than $50 million (not cumulative).
  • Five (5) years’ experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California).
  • Preferred: degree in architecture, engineering or construction management; CCM credential.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
  • Develop, assign, and monitor performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects.
  • Review status and overall construction project progress relative to schedules.
  • Review change orders from all construction projects and assess their impact on the district.
  • Assist Regional Directors and Facilities management with bid and contract planning.
  • Assess bid specifications according to District needs and timeline.
  • Review and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting.
  • Review and verify submitted applications for payment and manage multiple construction project finances.
  • Provide functional direction over schedules, cost control, disputes, contract administration, and quality control.
  • Review and monitor administration of contracts for Architects and related consultants.
  • Coordinate program activities with other District branches and departments.
  • Review and resolve disputes related to construction projects.
  • Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures.
  • Onsite at client site: work location is onsite with clients and partners.
