Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build, manage, monitor and operate its global infrastructure environments that underpin security, disaster recovery, and business continuity. This role sits in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience with Active Directory, storage and networking.
• Strong scripting and security configuration knowledge.
• Deep understanding of performance, security and application requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and network topologies.
• Experience with Unified Communications and collaboration technologies.
• Senior technical skills to coordinate between teams and plan implementations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Builds, manages, monitors, secures and operates the firm's infrastructure systems and environments.
• Ensures systems, including global integration points and Cloud, are available and functioning at all times.
• Performs hands-on configuration.
• Creates and maintains system documentation.
• Participates and/or leads disaster recovery planning, testing and validation.
• Participates in vendor relationships.
• Performs daily monitoring and 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Maintains high availability and proactively plans upgrades and capacity changes.
• Resolves escalated cases and conducts root cause analysis.
