Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build, manage, monitor and operate the firm’s infrastructure systems and environments. These environments support the Firm’s applications and are key to security, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

The role can sit in any U.S. office with a hybrid work schedule, involving hands-on configuration, documentation, and participation in disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed technical knowledge of infrastructure products with experience in security configuration.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, network topologies, and performance tuning/troubleshooting.
• Senior technical skills to coordinate between technical resources and plan for timely implementation.
• Experience with Unified Communications and Collaboration technologies.
• Excellent scripting skills and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds, manages, monitors, secures and operates the firm’s infrastructure systems and environments.
• Ensures globally integrated & cloud systems are available and functioning properly.
• Performs hands-on configuration and creates system documentation.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning, testing and validation.
• Performs daily monitoring and support and manages 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Identifies improvements, capacity changes and upgrades; plans upgrades/patches.
• Resolves escalated cases and performs fault/root-cause analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
