Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Lead Principal Infrastructure Capacity Planner to define the long-term capacity and architectural vision for OCI's edge and backbone networks. This role drives capital investment decisions and partners with stakeholders to shape infrastructure strategy.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in network planning, backbone engineering, and IP transit/peering, with a track record in large-scale fiber and wavelength networks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in network planning and infrastructure strategy.
• Deep understanding of IP transit/peering and large-scale fiber/wavelength infrastructure.
• Ability to drive capital investment decisions and influence infrastructure strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop long-range capacity and architecture strategy for edge and backbone routes.
• Lead major capital investment decisions and guide approval processes for key projects.
• Serve as senior technical authority, partnering with network engineering, sourcing and leadership.
• Mentor other planners and share best practices to strengthen the team.
