Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Technical Lead with a strong background in database technologies, infrastructure automation, and software development. Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in at least one major database platform (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack).
• CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Scripting and Automation (Python, PowerShell, Shell).
• Experience designing scalable enterprise applications and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery, and security concepts.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale automation solutions.
• Architect and implement IaC solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Provide technical leadership for application and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, cloud engineering, database administration, and operations teams.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Review code, enforce development best practices, and mentor engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and DevOps practices.
