Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Parsippany, NJ seeks a senior AWS/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and maintain high‑availability, secure AWS cloud systems. You will oversee pipelines and releases, optimize performance and costs, and collaborate with multiple teams to drive architectural excellence.

Required 7+ years IT, 5+ years AWS, Linux administration, and strong automation skills with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins/Concourse, plus AWS IAM and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total IT experience with 5+ years AWS platform experience.
• 5+ years Linux/Unix Administration.
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Terraform and Jenkins/Concourse.
• Broad range of AWS technologies (EC2, ECS, EKS, ELB, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECR, Lambda, APIGW).
• Strong emphasis on best practice cloud security.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and scripted pipelines (Jenkins).
• AWS IAM services experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and estimate AWS infrastructure needs with technical recommendations for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Design, deploy, automate, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Oversee build pipelines, production releases, and configuration management for system integrity and deployment reliability.
• Recommend and implement infrastructure improvements and architectural changes to drive operational excellence.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across platform and application domains leveraging deep AWS expertise.
• Ensure effective communication with staff, key leaders, and other departments.
