Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team in Chesapeake, VA.

The role spans on-prem virtualization, storage, Linux, cloud, and automation, with a strong emphasis on IaC, monitoring, and security to deliver scalable, reliable platforms. You will design and support hybrid cloud architectures across Azure, GCP, and OCI, implement automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Git, and lead modernization efforts for performance and resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Infrastructure, Systems, Platform, or SRE engineering.
• Enterprise environment experience.
• Proven solution design and implementation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting across multiple domains.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and support virtualization platforms; lead upgrades and migrations.
• Manage enterprise storage and DR solutions.
• Administer Linux environments and enforce standards.
• Design and support cloud solutions across multiple public cloud providers; enable hybrid architectures.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD.
• Enhance monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.
• Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
