Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months of related training/experience.
• CNC experience is a plus.
• Experience with calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Good finger/hand dexterity to handle small parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing machines for infrared optical lenses/components.
• Measure key dimensions with instruments to ensure parts meet specs.
• Adjust equipment to optimize operating parameters.
• Inspect final product per customer specifications.
• Enter product data into computer systems.
• Maintain records and documentation according to procedures.
• Escalate issues or deviations and follow corrective actions.
• Support colleagues and respond to stakeholder requests promptly.
