Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
• Strong experience with Web and Application Server platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in JVM administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Experience with message queuing technologies (e.g., IBM MQ).
• Knowledge of PKI and machine identity management.
• Experience with container platforms (OpenShift, EKS, ROSA).
• Understanding of server load balancing concepts and administration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting strategies.
• Preferred qualifications include hybrid cloud experience and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Principal operational support resource for complex infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments.
• Perform advanced analysis, performance tuning, and root cause troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standards, procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, and observability.
• Support enterprise patching and vulnerability management efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to improve operational readiness and service reliability.
• Contribute to governance and support models across private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across initiatives.
