Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to lead the engineering, implementation, and support of Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, and identity solutions in complex enterprise environments. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with architects and security teams, and drive successful migrations and ongoing operations across large Microsoft 365 deployments.

Qualifications

6–10+ years of experience engineering and administering Microsoft messaging and identity environments.
Deep hands-on experience with Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of hybrid identity, directory synchronization, and authentication troubleshooting.
Proven experience leading large-scale Exchange migrations and tenant transitions.
Ability to develop documentation, runbooks, and post-deployment support artifacts.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation, administration, and advanced support for Exchange Online in enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
Engineer and maintain Exchange Hybrid configurations and mail flow.
Design and troubleshoot complex mail flow scenarios and coexistence configurations.
Drive identity integrations across hybrid environments and Entra/Azure AD connectivity.
Oversee migration activities including onboarding, tenant transitions, and archived migrations.
Provide technical leadership during workshops, design sessions, and post-migration stabilization.
