Job summary

Spear AI is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design cloud architecture and build AI-ready data platforms for national security applications. You’ll work on Pulumi-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment to AWS and air-gapped environments.

You’ll monitor systems with OpenTelemetry, Sentry, and SigNoz, enforce CMMC controls, and manage secrets across complex deployments. Remote role with mission-driven impact.

Qualifications

• Expert in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Expert in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expert in CI/CD and DevSecOps with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or other cloud services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Go.
• Proficiency with networking.
• Familiar with cybersecurity compliance frameworks like CMMC, PCI, or SOC.
• Familiar with Single Sign-on and Identity Providers (IdP) like Authentik and Keycloak.
• Experience deploying to air-gapped environments.
• Experience self-hosting on bare metal servers.
• TS/SCI clearance required

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture.
