Job summary

Spear AI is seeking a forward‑deployed engineer to work on-site with customers, writing code, integrating systems, and solving mission‑critical problems. This role requires a current or active U.S. Secret clearance and offers exposure to naval and defense projects.

You will design cloud architectures, implement IaC with Pulumi, build CI/CD pipelines, and support deployments in AWS and air‑gapped environments while ensuring CMMC compliance and robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in IaC using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL) and Podman experience.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps with GitLab/GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in AWS or other cloud services and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture for customer deployments.
• Develop IaC pipelines and maintain CI/CD tooling.
• Deploy to AWS and air-gapped environments with security controls.
• Monitor and optimize containerized workloads using Kubernetes/Podman.
• Collaborate with customer teams and travel as needed.
