You will work on Quartermaster, interact with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, and monitoring systems, focusing on safe, scalable agent architectures and human-in-the-loop escalation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend languages: Python/Go/Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong system design skills for reliable, safe agent systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build goal-oriented infrastructure AI agents: design and implement autonomous agents for SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows.
• Design agent architectures for safety and reliability with planning, reasoning, and escalation.
• Integrate agents with real infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, monitoring, databases, CI/CD).
• Evaluate metrics for agent effectiveness and reliability.
• Collaborate with SRE/DevOps teams to identify high-value automation opportunities.
• Shape the future of infrastructure AI at Airwallex and advance agent-driven operations.
