Job summary

Qualtrics in Seattle is seeking a Staff Software Developer for the Agent Platform to design and implement AI architectures, support agent capabilities across product lines, and guide platform direction with engineers, scientists, product managers, and security architects.

You will own technical roadmaps, review code, stay current with AI frameworks, and mentor teammates while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, observable, and governed enterprise SaaS AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, plus experience with AI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and deploying AI models.
• Experience with security and governance for agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI architectures, frameworks, and algorithms for large-scale enterprise SaaS.
• Evaluate AI technologies and collaborate across teams to align architecture and decisions.
• Guide the Agent Platform roadmap and provide technical supervision to core AI teams.
• Conduct regular code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay current with AI advancements and apply them to improve performance and governance.
