Job summary

Ford is seeking a Software Integration Tester to lead high-quality Infotainment software validation across complex ECU test setups. You will design, implement, and maintain tests and automation, troubleshoot vehicle networks, and guide teams in best practices while applying ASPICE and ISTQB standards.

You will work in a hybrid environment with intense collaboration across software and hardware teams to ensure robust product quality for Ford’s infotainment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of advanced professional experience with Software/Requirements Verifications projects.
• 5+ years of experience implementing test strategies and designing test strategies.
• Master’s degree is a plus with broader domain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and execution of test methods and automation scripts across integration levels.
• Lead incidents triage, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Use Test Management tools for planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of results.
• Perform testing in complex multi-ECU test setups or test vehicles.
• Troubleshoot Infotainment ECU vehicle network issues.
• Utilize defect management tools for defect tracking and resolution.
• Mentor colleagues on Automation frameworks and best practices.
• Align with industry standards (ASPICE, ISTQB, ASAM, INCOSE).
