Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a senior Information Assurance Security Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support an Intelligence Community customer. You will shape system security from policy to incident response, influencing architecture and operations.

The role covers policy, compliance, architecture, and incident response, working with cross-functional teams to implement RMF and secure cloud and on-prem environments. A pinnacle security-focused senior position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information security experience in policy, engineering, or operations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with DoD RMF knowledge.
• IAM Level II certification required to start (DoD 8570).
• Experience with ACAS, HBSS, Carbon Black, Tanium, RedSeal, or EMET.
• Cloud infrastructure/AWS-based solutions experience.
• Scripting on UNIX/RHEL and PowerShell proficiency.
• Windows AD and VMware virtualization familiarity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review security policies, MOAs, and SSPs.
• Lead Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and RMF activities.
• Review POA&Ms and drive remediation and lien resolution.
• Configure and maintain perimeter security tech: firewalls, gateways, IDS.
• Perform forensic traffic/log analysis and respond to alerts.
• Engage with multi-agency stakeholders and brief leadership.
