Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Information Security Analyst to strengthen cybersecurity operations across hybrid environments. You will lead vulnerability management, defense strategies, and threat detection activities while guiding cross‑functional teams in secure configurations and risk reduction.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of related experience, and hands‑on expertise with Tenable, Linux, RMF/NIST, and DoD frameworks.US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education: Security+, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills: Tenable Security Center (Tenable.sc), Linux/Red Hat administration, DISA STIGs, NSA guidelines, DoD compliance frameworks, Azure IL5/IL6 support, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, POA&M management, vulnerability analysis, incident response familiarity.
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI
• US citizenship required
• Familiarity with RMF and NIST 800-53 frameworks; DoD cybersecurity environments

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management operations and drive threat detection and response.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, network, cybersecurity operations, and leadership teams to ensure secure configurations and rapid mitigation of vulnerabilities.
• Develop actionable reporting, tune detection rules, resolve scanner/integration challenges, and strengthen endpoint security.
• Utilize Tenable Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure IL5/IL6, Linux/Red Hat administration, and enterprise security monitoring tools.
