O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Sr Information Security Analyst to analyze and monitor cybersecurity measures, respond to penetration attempts, and lead incident response activities. The role emphasizes continuous monitoring of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms, plus development of playbooks and threat simulations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–6 years of experience, and is located in Springfield, MO with no option for remote work.

Responsabilités

• Lead continuous monitoring and tuning of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
• Perform advanced log correlation and forensic analysis across multiple systems, identifying complex threats and initiating mitigation strategies.
• Serve as escalation point for complex security incidents, overseeing end-to-end incident response including investigation, containment, eradication, and post-incident review.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, tabletop exercises, and threat simulations to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Drive improvements in security monitoring and detection by identifying SIEM content gaps, recommending new use cases, and integrating threat intelligence feeds.
• Participate in threat hunting initiatives to proactively detect IOCs within the environment.
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats; work independently.
• Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to address issues promptly.
• Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard.
• Help develop procedures for organizational security compliance and monitor their implementation.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and regulatory codes, and ensure work adheres to standards; report noncompliance as needed.
• Explore external developments or issues and evaluate their impact on the organization.
